Heya’ll, We hope you are already stoked that Vienna IV will be coming up in almost excactly 4 month already! This is a short update on Registration. We hope we can clarify a few things and answer some frequently asked questions with this. This post is structured as follows:

The lists are published as of 6/12/2012, please be aware that they will be outdated quickly. Official communication is via Email.
A. On Communication
1- Please be aware that the official mean of communication for all registration is via email to viv@debattierklubwien.at. We might not be able to answer your request via Facebook etc. Please be also aware that we are handling registration on a case by case basis. There is no deadline for all teams only the one you received per email counts.
2- We apologise for any delays when it comes to answering your requests. Vienna IV seems to be very popular this year, which is good, because we see it as a motivation to work harder. Unfortunately this also has the effect that we get spoiled with requests, and might take some more time to answer them. Please have patience.
B. FAQ
1- What about Apocalypse? Well we don’t really have this thing here, at least it won’t bother VIV attendees. Firstly, we don’t think this will affect Debate Land, at least not Vienna, because we are way too busy for rapture and stuff. Secondly, even if that was an issue, there is no city with more cellars and bunkers than Vienna, which should be even more of an incentive to come. Thirdly, if that thing really came with mass extinction we would just move the IV to Zentralfriedhof (Vienna’s Main Graveyard) which is an extreme hotspot of afterlife. You reg would still be valid.
2- Do you send us invoices? In principle no, because this would pose a maximum of administrative effort upon us. However, if you definitely need one, please email us as stated above.
3- Can I pay for BP Open and VIV at once? Yes. It’s even the same account. Please indicate it in the transfer though and make sure you are registered with both tournaments, as registration is kept seperate.
4- Is the reg fee refundable? No. We need the reg fee as a confirmation that you are coming, therefore we can unfortunately not refund it if you do not show up.
5- What happens if I miss the payment deadline? Someone else gets the slot. We have loads of interested teams, it would be unfair to grant respites for teams who don’t meet their deadlines. If you encounter troubles with payment, please email us, if you can provide proof of payment to us, there will be no problem.
6- Is it true that you got the city hall for the tournament? Hm, might be, we will keep on teasing you…
