We go into more depth here regarding our projects involving school students.
We believe that you can’t start public speaking and argumentation too early. To bring debating to Austrian schools, we are organizing partners of “Misch Dich Ein!” (“Get involved!”), where our most experienced members regularly hold workshops for classes and teachers alike and judge at regular debating events.
Every year, we host the Baker McKenzie Debate Club in which experienced law students practice one of the most relevant skills for their field. You can find a report here for its iteration in 2018.
To help drive conservations on the most urgent topics of our generation, we co-organized multiple events with the Austrian development NGO Südwind, under the umbrella Climate of Change.
As a member organisation of the Young European Federalists Austria, we don’t just stay in touch with our historical roots, but also hope to shape the road that lies ahead for Europe.
Our Partnership with Educom has meant that, year after year, we have been able to organize some of the highest quality debate tournaments, including the German Debating Championships in 2022.
